Thanksgiving Dinner and Testimonies:
We have so much to thank
God for this year that Thanksgiving couldn't
come too soon. You are welcome to come
worship with us Sunday, November 23, when we
will have a fried turkey dinner immediately
after service. We'll also have a time
to share a testimony to glorify God for all
he has done for us. |

Christ-Centered Worship Every Sunday
We gather for
worship every Sunday at 11:00 a.m. in the Oceanway
Middle School. Our aim is to see God glorified
and saints edified. We worship using hymns and choruses that
are Christ-centered and Scripture saturated.
However, we worship not only through melodic
exaltation, but also through what we call expository exaltation.
This is the sound, verse by verse teaching of God's
Word. |

Bible Study
What do the oldest
historical records tell us about Jesus Christ?
You may not know that the Gospel of Mark is the
oldest historical account of the life of Christ in
existence. Every Sunday before worship, at
10:00 a.m., we are studying the Gospel of Mark verse
by verse. You are more than welcome to come.

Kid's
World Children's Ministry
Kid's World is a
children's ministry designed to teach elementary
aged children the good news of Jesus Christ through
bible lessons, crafts, games and other activities.
It takes place every Sunday at 10:00 a.m.
simultaneous to the adult bible study.

Bible Study:
Wednesdays:
We meet each Wednesday night at
6:30 p.m. in someone's home for bible study and
fellowship. You are more than welcome to come.
Simply call True North to get directions. We
are also starting an additional bible study that
will meet every Sunday evening at 6:00 p.m.,
beginning, August 24.
Sunday Evenings:
Next week, Sunday, August 24, we are beginning an excellent study entitled Starting Point.
If you are searching and have not yet committed your
life to Christ, this will be a great way to learn
what makes the Christian Faith unique. We will
also answer some daunting questions such as: Did
God really create the universe the way Genesis
describes it? How can we trust God's Word as a
reliable historical document? Why are there so
many translations of the Bible?
Why were the 66 books in the Bible included and who
determined which books would be included or
excluded? |
